Two time Emmy nominated, 5 time Telly Awards winner, and four time Webbys Awards winner, Assaf Blecher was born and raised in Israel. He received his Master’s degree in Media Production from Kent & Canterbury University in the UK and later moved to Los Angeles to continue to build his career in television development and production. With vast experience in scripted and non-scripted television as a network executive, Executive Producer, and head of development for companies in the UK, US & Israel, Assaf specializes in game shows, entertainment, live specials, award shows, docu-reality and reality shows. Assaf started his US career as the Head of Development and Programming for Dick Clark Productions and then continued as the Managing Director for Keshet-DC. After a move back to Israel in 2014, Assaf served as the Head of Content and Development for Israel leading network Channel 12 and most recently as SVP and Head of Development for Machete Productions. Some credits include Rising Star on ABC, Boom! On FOX, Crazy Family Adventure on the TRAVEL Chanel, Deadly Sins on Discovery, and various award and red carpet shows such as the Streamys, Fashion Film Awards, AMA’s, Golden Globes and more.
